Product Use:

Arterial cannulas are primarily used for measuring blood pressure during surgery or injecting medications into the pulmonary artery, among other applications. They are also suitable for specialized examinations such as ventricular angiography and selective arterial angiography, monitoring during major surgeries like cardiovascular procedures and organ transplants, or for certain treatments, such as intra-arterial administration of antitumor drugs in cancer patients. They provide continuous and direct arterial blood pressure monitoring, promptly and accurately reflecting dynamic changes in the patient's blood pressure.

Product Structure and Composition:

The arterial cannula body mainly consists of the tube and a metal reinforcement wire. The tube serves as the main part of the cannula, responsible for forming a channel within the artery to allow smooth flow of fluids or medications. The tube is typically made of medical-grade materials, such as polyurethane, to ensure sufficient flexibility and pressure resistance, adapting to arterial curvature and pulsation. Metal Reinforcement Wire: For arterial cannulas requiring higher strength or stability, medical-grade stainless steel, nitinol wire, or other metal reinforcement wires may be used to enhance the structural strength of the cannula.

Product Features:

The product has a relatively thin wall thickness, a sharp tube tip, and strong wall adherence. The metal-reinforced tube body allows for higher flow rates with minimal pressure difference. The tube exhibits good flexibility and rebound performance, making it suitable for femoral/axillary artery cannulation. It can also be used in minimally invasive surgeries.
